Atour Hotel Xi'an High-tech Software New Town

The rooms were spacious and clean, and the care across housekeeping, laundry, and the daily check-ins was consistently professional. I stayed at Sheraton Xi’an South for an extended period as an American who only speaks English, and had an amazing experience. Tony, who drove us to work each day, really stood out for his service. The attentiveness of the rest of the staff also made the stay memorable. If I return to Xi’an, I’d choose this hotel again without hesitation. I highly recommend it to visitors.

Nicole was wonderful at helping with all kinds of advice and making sure everyone was happy. The whole staff were smiling, friendly, and ready to help, and they made me feel like family. The hotel is about 10 minutes from the centre, easy to reach by taxi or rental bike, and the nearby talent park is lovely for walking, running, or training. The rooms are large, comfortable, and really nice, and the food was good in both quality and quantity. A really wonderful place to stay. Thanks so much for hosting me.

The cleaning staff were very friendly, which was about the only bright spot in an otherwise horrible stay. The western breakfast options were a joke, and most of the room service menu wasn't actually available. The room stayed between 75 and 80F even though it was only 65 outside at night. The air conditioner is centrally controlled, so changing the dial in the room did nothing, and guests aren't allowed to open the windows. After several promises that maintenance would check it, I was eventually told this was hotel policy. I definitely won't stay here again.

The room was great and the breakfast buffet was good, which helped make up for the location not being the best. It was also quite odd to find the bathtub right in the middle of the hotel room.
