Elong ETANG Hotel (Xi'an Bell Tower Branch)

The laundry room was a real highlight for me. It has 24-hour LG commercial washers and dryers, plus laundry bags, detergent, an ironing board, a steamer, and clear instructions in English and Chinese. It’s easy to use and especially handy on a longer trip or after traveling around China. The bed was heavenly, with soft linens and supportive pillows, and the plush bathrobe was so comfy I wanted one. You can buy one from the hotel. The room isn’t big, but the details are well thought out, including a coffee machine with Peet’s capsules. Step outside and you’re right by Huimin Street (Muslim Quarter), with Roujiamo, liangpi, lamb skewers, and other street food just steps away. The Bell Tower and Drum Tower are nearby too, and the metro makes exploring the rest of Xi’an easy. Breakfast had Western and Chinese options, fresh noodles, porridge, fruit, pastries, and good coffee. For the Hyatt brand and this location, I thought the price was good value. The decor is modern and minimal, and the lobby feels warm and welcoming after a long travel day. If you’re a light sleeper, ask for a higher floor away from Huimin Street. And don’t miss a late-night food wander outside. I’d stay here again for the cozy room, coffee, and food right nearby.

The location is superb, and the room was decent. I stayed five nights, and all the staff were amazing, professional, and attentive. The service was exceptional. I'll definitely be back.

Clean, modern rooms and convenient self-service laundry make this a practical base for exploring the historic center. It's very close to the Ancient City Walls and Bell Tower. A smart mid-scale Hyatt option that punches above its weight.

We were pleasantly surprised by the amenities, especially for the UrCove brand. The rooms are clean and the location is great. Breakfast was the one letdown for me, with a somewhat underwhelming spread and not many Western choices.
