We loved the breakfast buffet, it was absolutely delicious. It made me wonder why Holiday Inns in the US can’t do the same. The hotel was really nice, close to the North Gate of the Ancient Wall, and there were plenty of restaurants nearby. Around the gate, we enjoyed watching the dancing groups and joining in.

The hotel is right beside a Metro station, which was handy for getting around. I stayed three days with breakfast included. The room was basic, with two single beds, a TV, kettle, and hair dryer, and no fridge, safe deposit box, or cabinet. Breakfast had limited options for Muslim guests, so I had to make do with bread, eggs, and cereals.

My room on a high floor was relatively quiet, with no noise, and both the sound and air conditioning were good. The room was clean, parking was available at the door, and the subway entrance was close by. The location was easy to find, and the receptionist was very nice. Overall, it was good.

It’s a fairly ordinary hotel, reasonably close to the old city wall and Muslim quarter, though you’ll still need a taxi or be ready for a walk of more than 30 minutes. Breakfast was okay, but very little English is spoken, so be prepared. At the same price next time, I’d choose somewhere with a different experience.

The room felt warm and was a nice size, so I didn't need to turn on the heater. Breakfast, unfortunately, was very basic.
