Getting to the train station took about 20 minutes by DiDi. Back at the hotel, I had a huge, clean room with a walk-in closet, and the staff were attentive. The breakfast buffet was good too. Best JW Marriott I’ve stayed at so far. ❤️

Some of the staff were really, really friendly, but I don’t really recommend the hotel. They cleaned our room when we didn’t want them to, and our valuables had been scattered around, so we had to search everywhere. There was also confusion over the laundry, with people pointing fingers. I’m trying to keep this unbiased. When staff handled our passports, they slapped them around and folded them, nearly damaging them. It felt so disrespectful. This was a bit of a hit-or-miss experience, and overall, it wasn’t great.
The hotel staff were nice and helped me order a cab to the right place after I realized I’d mistaken this for the other JW Marriott. Great service.
The rooms seemed even bigger because of the unusually high ceilings. The lobby also feels incredibly spacious, with huge panoramic windows all around. It’s a super-modern hotel on the upper floors of a skyscraper in the northern part of the city. Both the common areas and rooms have a beautiful, stylish design.
The room was spacious and comfortable, though it had a few minor problems, and the staff were excellent. This hotel is in the north, farther from the city, but very close to an underground station, so it’s still convenient. It’s also closer to suburban attractions like Huashan and terracotta army.
