10/10 place to stay 🌟 Chenyue made our check-in smooth and was so helpful, and we got a large, clean, cozy room with amazing views of the ancient wall. The service was amazing, and breakfast was 💯. I highly recommend ATOUR Hotel.

The South gate location makes it easy to walk to key spots, including the bell and drum towers, Muslim Quarter, and the wall itself. Around Chinese New Year, decorations go up on the wall and outside the gate. Staff were pleasant and good at arranging cars to other places, although that usually costs quite a bit more than Didi. My room was clean, comfortable, nicely presented, and had all the amenities I needed. There are lots of nearby places for breakfast, since I couldn't see an option to book a room with breakfast included and didn't try the food. I was disappointed there was no bath, and the view was partly blocked by badly placed A/C units on the outside of the building.

Even for just one night, my stay at Atour Hotel was very good. The room was super clean, and breakfast was amazing.

The price seemed reasonable compared with similar hotels, and breakfast was good. Tables by the windows have nicer views. It's a handy base for the city, with shops, the city walls, and the Muslim Quarter and lively market nearby. The stay was acceptable, though not one I'll remember.
