The location was a real plus, with a metro station just two steps away, and the service was excellent. Staff helped us order food and set up WeChat so we could communicate with them. Our room was clean and nice, with a built in water filter. We stayed five nights. The only issue was that the shower's hot water temperature kept fluctuating.
The room was spacious, with plenty of room for luggage, and the staff were warm and helpful. It's very conveniently located just across from the Bell Tower, within walking distance of Beiyuanmen and the City Wall.
The breakfast selection was reasonable, and the room was clean. The location is excellent and the staff are friendly. I was quite happy with my stay, apart from the laundry room, whose facilities really need improvement. Many other hotels have much better laundry facilities.
The best part is the location, with handy room controls, plenty of lighting, a comfortable bed, and strong hot showers. There's a dispenser in the room for hot, warm, or room temperature water, which is a plus. At around S$49 a night, the price is hard to beat. Booking through Ctrip was over S$100 cheaper than Agoda. Line 2 is the closest subway, followed by Line 6, so getting around Xian is easy. What annoyed me was that they didn't change my sheets for four nights. I complained through their WeChat contact, and they came to sort it out within 30 minutes. There isn't any nice local food within a 10 minute walk, though China's KFC breakfast is better than SG. The location is amazing and central, with the subway just a one minute walk away. The rooms were quiet, very clean, and fancy, with luxurious bathrooms, and the bed was very comfortable. Breakfast was delicious. Highly recommended.
