Hanting Express Inn Hexiang Road - Xiame

For a simple, small holiday chain, this is a reasonably priced stay if you book ahead. The room was bright, clean and airy, with enough amenities, and the AC worked well. The bed and duvet were good, though the pillows felt too hard. There was a kettle and tea, plus a TV with lots of local channels. Slippers, a toothbrush and toothpaste, a comb, and shampoo were supplied; the towels were okay, and the room was cleaned daily. The bathroom had good water pressure, but could use a proper scrub. Breakfast isn't included and costs RMB18. The choices weren't really to my taste, though it was still better value than buying a similar breakfast outside. It's an 8-minute walk to the BRT station for the airport or Xiamen North station.
