For a layover of more than 12 hours, this worked out as a decent place to stay. The airport is very close, and there's a free shuttle. Food deliveries are brought right to the room by robot, which was a nice touch. Breakfast was basic, with standard international and oriental dishes, but not much variety. Our room had an AC issue: it wouldn't cool properly. The window was open when we arrived, and at first we thought housekeeping had missed it, but other rooms had open windows too, so it seemed intentional. At night I set the AC to 20 degrees with the fan on high, but the room stayed at 25.

The room was roomy and clean, with a good shower and a comfortable bed. Everything felt modern, though a few pieces of furniture were worn. The staff really made the stay, going out of their way to keep guests happy. It's also very close to the airport, with a free shuttle. I'd gladly come back and recommend it.

The rooms are large and well equipped, and the prices are very reasonable. Reception staff spoke English, though the rooms seemed set up mainly for Chinese guests. It's a good option for a transit stay and can also work as a base for exploring Xiamen. There's a free airport shuttle. The room wasn't air conditioned before arrival, so it was 30 degrees when I got in. Once I put the card in the slot, it took a couple of hours to cool to a comfortable 23. That's common energy saving practice in China.

Manager Sky arranged a late checkout and an immediate ride to the airport, and the international flight shuttle is free. The hotel was clean and very nice, conveniently near both the airport and the office. First class service.

The room, artwork, breakfast, and dinners all stood out as our favorites during four weeks in China. The staff were warm, kind, and exceptionally helpful. We stayed in May and hope we can return someday. It was our favorite place on the trip, and we're grateful to everyone. Panel and Tim
