I used the swimming pool for 20 yuan, and Wanda Mall right next door made it easy to find shops and food during my transit. The hallway by the elevator and even the convenience store allowed smoking, which was a bit of a culture shock. I suppose that's hard to avoid in China for now, though I hope it gradually gets better. My single room at the Xiamen Airlines transit hotel suited me well as a solo traveler. It's close to the airport, and the staff were friendly. Since I had an early flight, they called a taxi so I could get there safely. Thanks! I'd recommend staying here during a layover.

The room was tiny and unsanitary. A terrible stay.
