Baihe Wharf Inn

The river view was lovely, especially after dark, and the room was clean and beautiful. Staff were very nice, and breakfast was really good. We could easily walk around town from the hotel. We stayed three nights while exploring Furong Town and Zhangjiajie. I’d recommend spending a night here to see the waterfall lit up and catch the evening performances.

The room’s a little worn, but it’s still a great choice, with a wonderful location, a balcony, and a beautiful river view. It has a hairdryer, kettle, toiletries, and an amazing AC/heater. You can arrange a return transfer with them for just RMB 20. The owner deserves 10 stars. She went out of her way to look after us, picked us up at the railway station, helped with entry tickets and our bulky luggage, and offered us different rooms to choose from. Her generous hospitality exceeded our expectations. She even made us breakfast to go. I’d certainly recommend this wonderful little inn.

Really good communication, and they even tried to communicate in Polish :) On check-in there were lots of extras, plus a small gift at checkout. Amazing, the best service I had in China. Perfect location.

The room faced straight out onto the scenic FRZ. The staff were kind, and the lady boss was helpful. They carried our four huge suitcases up to the room and even brought watermelon to refresh us. A must stay if you come to Furongzhen.
