My friends' wedding was ruined after the hotel raised the price at the last minute for a newlywed couple. The way they handled it felt arrogant and completely unprofessional, with no regard for their agreement. Please don't book here.

Based on at least one report from October 2025, it seems possible that mid-management at Pullman Xishuangbanna may have gone back on an oral agreement to modify a destination wedding contract. The same source suggests there may be collusion and price cartels among at least two local destination wedding venues or hotels. Be extremely cautious when booking a destination wedding.

The rooms are clean and spacious, and the basement restaurant does a good buffet. It's a huge hotel, though: my room was nearly at the far end of the corridor, about a 10-minute walk from reception. Service was very basic.
