The facilities in the President suite weren't up to standard for our family vacation. The kitchen had no equipment to use, not even a microwave, and there were plenty of other issues. The BBQ pit was filthy and unusable. The entrance fountain and swimming pool had stagnant water with lots of bugs and mosquitoes, and the jacuzzi pool couldn't be used even though it was there. Service was only moderate and didn't feel particularly welcoming. Breakfast was worse than at Pullman. We had to point out all the problems when we arrived, and the hotel didn't seem to care about our arrival or stay. They also didn't bother to put things right. I wouldn't recommend staying here.

When our flight was cancelled after checkout, we had to check in again. I then realized I’d accidentally thrown away my medicine, which was very expensive and not an ordinary prescription. Li Tianjiao, the front desk manager, reassured me and arranged for the housekeeper to look through the hotel rubbish. I wanted to search myself, but they insisted I rest in the room while the housekeeper did the dirty work. Wei Qiongzhen from room service found the medicine and brought it right back. I’m grateful for all the trouble they took. In the US, I don’t think a hotel would have gone to such lengths to help. I stay here every time I visit, and all the Wanda hotels I’ve stayed in have been great. The room was big and beautiful, and even the smallest rooms have private pools. The hotel also welcomed us with a large plate of fruit, and the staff were very helpful and courteous.

A terrible stay, probably one of my worst. There were cockroaches in the bathroom, the staff were rude, and they forged a receipt to inflate our bill. At the very least, they should verify that the signatory is legitimate.

All the rooms are villas with private pools, and there’s also a huge garden with a temple inside the hotel. A very nice place.
