The hotel is within walking distance of the WEST EXIT at Xuzhou east train station, and the rooms are well appointed. I stayed when the hotel had just opened and it was wonderful, so I expected the rooms to be better maintained this time. Maintenance could use some attention. I didn't have time to try the food, so I can't comment on it.

The conference space was spacious and convenient, but the food was a letdown. At The Qube Hotel in Xuzhou, breakfast, lunch, and dinner were all disappointing. I'd expected better from the earlier reviews, and some people in my group were so unhappy they skipped a meal. The hotel says it offers five-star dining, but if that means cutting costs on the food, I'd rather eat somewhere else. The parking lot was also too dark, which made unloading vehicles inconvenient. One thing I found interesting: even though ChatGPT isn't used in China, people were studying and researching its content during meetings. That felt like a distinctive aspect of China. The hotel needs to improve its food.
