Good value for the price. The staff were friendly and helpful, and the beds were comfortable. The rooms were quiet, with an okay standard of furniture and fittings.

The breakfast was plentiful, with a decent range including options for Western tastes, though don't expect cutlery. The hotel also has a swimming pool, spa, several halls, and four wings, and regularly hosts conferences, weddings, and other events. There's a lot here, but the complex feels dated. Some roofs have weeds growing on them, and the rooms show wear. In the room, you can't bypass the master key card switch, so the air conditioning stops while you're out. It isn't cool enough to make up for the temperature rising while you're gone. The whole hotel seemed to be kept too warm, and the lobby was sometimes unbearable. Hardly anyone speaks English, and my Mastercard payment didn't work. Still, the staff made a big effort to put our company address on the bill. A cultural experience! For China, the standard is high, and I'd recommend it.
