Yu Tian Hotel

The late-night clearance deal is worth knowing about: after 11 PM, deluxe rooms go for 180 RMB instead of the usual 280 RMB for a single room. Still, the carpet looked unclean, and walking on it barefoot made that pretty obvious. The rest of the stay was mostly good, but a few things were off. Some breakfast dishes tasted sour, and the “fresh milk” seemed to be diluted milk powder. The soy milk seemed the same. That points to a management problem. The internet kept cutting out and blocked my VPN, so I couldn’t connect to the office. Email was acting strangely too, and there was no Wi-Fi provided. The welcome fruit seemed to have been sitting around for ages. The guava had worms in it, and I’d already taken a bite. Disgusting. I told the front desk, but they swapped it for another guava that also looked old. I didn’t dare eat that one.

The sauna was really bad.
