It's a new hotel beside Hyatt and WestIn, but the neighborhood feels dull. There's really nothing to do around there.

The spa is an amazing value, and the staff were friendly and attentive. My room was excellent and felt brand new, with views of the ocean, shipyard, mountains, and convention center. Breakfast was decent. The fitness room is new too, though it still has a strong rubber smell. The hotel is quiet and secluded, across from the convention center.

There are several hotels clustered nearby, including Hyatt Place, and this one is connected to the Westin. My ocean-view room was cool, though it had no bathtub, and the front desk staff were friendly. Breakfast and the swimming pool are shared with Westin Hotel, which meant I got to enjoy a truly excellent breakfast. There's also a sauna, but it isn't well-maintained. With so few guests around, it was easy to enjoy the place comfortably. The airport is about 30 minutes away by taxi.

The sunrise was the best part, even better than the photos, and the ocean view was wonderful. The room was clean and the food was decent. It's a bit far out, but taxis are cheap and the airport is close. They also welcomed me with a tomato.
