The Hilton Yantai pin on this Google map is in the wrong place. I walked a long way around before realizing it, and it should be at the Yantai shimao Hilton Hotel location. The photos posted by other guests are accurate, though. The hotel is spacious and nice, with sea views.

The staff made our stay really comfortable, and we were lucky enough to get the hotel’s largest suite, which made for a remarkable visit. Breakfast at the restaurant was satisfying, and the buffet dinner was excellent, with beer and soft drinks included as free flow. It’s an outstanding hotel.

The team gave us a warm welcome, and the food and facilities were great. Our stay was easy and comfortable. We happened to be there over Christmas and New Year, and the staff did everything they could to make it feel like home. Great work by the General Manager and the hotel team. This is international hotel hospitality at a high standard.

Amanda Liu Tongtong, the front desk manager, welcomed us warmly and made check-in easy and pleasant. The staff were friendly and attentive throughout, always ready to help. The breakfast had a great range, and the gym and pool were fully equipped. I brought my parents to Yantai for a family weekend in October, and we chose Hilton Yantai for its location and views of Yantai Mountain and the Yellow Sea. I’ve been a Hilton gold member for a long time and have stayed at Hilton hotels around the world. This one is near the top of my list, and I’d happily book again on a return to Yantai.

On a clear day, the sea view is lovely. I also found the king deluxe room roomy, with a practical layout. The walk-in wardrobe gave us somewhere to put our suitcases, and the desk was tucked into a corner and out of the way. Staff in reception, the dining rooms, and housekeeping were all polite and delightful. I’d gladly book here again if I return to Yantai.
