We had a triple room, and the staff did their best to help, responding quickly when there was an issue. Having three queen beds was a plus, since other hotels usually just provide a foldaway bed. The toilet clogged with just tissue, so used paper has to go in a bin. The room also felt dated and worn, and could probably use some refreshing.
There isn’t much around yet because this new local chain hotel is in an area still being built. There’s a mini mart beside it, and not much else. Breakfast in the cramped second-floor restaurant felt like a warzone, with the layout adding to the chaos.

The rooms are simple and clean, but breakfast was a letdown for me, especially as a Taiwanese traveler. The selection was extremely limited, with no soft-boiled eggs, and the small restaurant runs short of seats when crowds arrive. Food also wasn’t replenished quickly enough. Breakfast is an important comfort for me when I travel, so this was a major drawback. The hotel is fairly new, but it takes 40-50 minutes to drive here from Yantai Airport. It’s in a newly developed part of Yantai, surrounded by empty lots and construction sites. At night, once back at the hotel, there are no recreation options or shopping areas to visit.
It’s a fairly new hotel on the outskirts of Yantai, but development is still underway, and there isn’t really a view. There’s nothing to do at the hotel if you get back early, and the breakfast is rather rough.
