There’s a market about 200m away with fruit, vegetables, seafood, and more. Two food alleys start to its left, with side-dish and noodle shops, fried rice, hotteok, dumplings, and steamed buns. AEON Shopping Mall is roughly a 10-minute walk. Since this is an industrial area, the market is about the only nearby source of shops or convenience facilities. Rooms are modern and clean, all on the 16th floor or above. Breakfast includes fruit, salad, breads, and made-to-order noodles, and the coffee is less bitter than at other hotels. The fitness area is on the 16th floor and has a great view. Staff are friendly and speak Chinese well.

I've stayed here many times, and at USD 40-50 a night in the off-season, the price is very reasonable. The Yantai Development Zone is about 3km from the beach and close to Aeon Mall. From the sea-view rooms, the beach is only visible in the distance, while the lower view looks out onto a car factory.
