The buffet breakfast had the best selection I've ever seen, and there are running tracks along the waterfront outside. The hotel was only 6 months old when I stayed, with large ultra-modern rooms, a comfortable bed and pillows, and electronic controls for the lights, curtains, and privacy screens. The bathroom fixtures are modern, including a bidet. There's a new exhibition centre next door, and the hotel is very comfortable. The neighbourhood is still relatively new, so I expect it to get better as more facilities are developed. I'll stay here again when I'm back in Yantai.

There isn't much to do nearby, and the area feels really boring. It's a new hotel right beside Hyatt and Aloft.

The facilities were nice and the breakfast tasted good, but the service was terrible. Of all the five-star hotels I've stayed in, this had the worst service. The staff were extremely rude and didn't answer my questions. The noodles should have been warm, but came out cold. When I asked for vegetables, they were very reluctant and gave me some that had gone limp in a container and were completely cold. Westin doesn't seem to live up to its name. There were plenty of good things for the price, but I don't think I'll return.
