For $40 USD, we got a clean, comfortable room with the usual Chinese hotel amenities, varied breakfast for two, snacks at check-in and in the room, bottled water, a standard gym, and complimentary laundry. We stayed here before a river cruise. It’s a 15-minute drive from Yichang East Railroad Station. There was a little wear and tear, but the stay was nice and quiet, and the staff were helpful and accommodating. They even let us check out at 3pm. There isn’t much around, though the river walk is nice and the night market, a 20-minute walk away, was an interesting experience. Great value, with everything we needed.

We had a lovely riverside view at night, and my room had a nice balcony. It was spacious, clean, and well equipped. I also liked finding snacks at the reception lobby and by the bedside when we got to the room. The only downside is that there are no shops or restaurants nearby.

We got a small gift at check-in and an upgrade to a balcony room overlooking the river. The room had a Japanese-style toilet. The hotel is on the Yangtze River bank, about a 20-minute drive from Yichang East Railway Station. Sadly, heavy fog kept us from seeing the river’s magnificent view.
