Reception felt careless and unprofessional. The air conditioning was limited, especially in the hot weather.

The room was cold because the air conditioning wasn't working. They damaged my friend's passport and wouldn't admit what they'd done. I don't know what the stay cost since my company paid.

New, modern, and clean, this is a great hotel in Yingkou. Shame there's no swimming pool 😁

I always felt safe, and the locals were really friendly, though I got a few funny looks now and then ;-). This isn't much of a tourist town, and you'd be lost without an interpreter. Foreign languages aren't standard, and online translators can be unreliable. At least there's a shopping mall downstairs with everything you need, if you can manage with charades. The staff were very friendly, typical Asia... Traffic noise is constant, with horns blaring 24/7, so try sleeping with the air conditioning on.
