Sanding New Century Grand Hotel Yiwu

The room 1608 air conditioner didn’t work at all. They brought a noisy cooler for the night and said they’d fix it, but the next evening it still wasn’t fixed. A staff member tried to adjust the AC, but even with the cooler running, it was 28 degrees in the room. After an hour, the cooler showed 27 and the AC thermometer showed 26.8. It was too hot to breathe. I agreed to move, but the other room on the same floor was hot too. I think the air conditioning wasn’t working properly on the whole floor. We then moved to the 18th floor, where the room was okay, but it turned out to be more expensive. It seemed they were making money this way, on top of having poor quality rooms. They then asked me to look at another room on another floor. The whole process took more than an hour at night. I felt terrible walking around the hotel, losing time, gathering all my stuff, and moving again. There was also a problem right at the start. I’d booked a Deluxe king room with Double bed, but reception said I had a twin bed room and would have to pay extra. I was very tired, so I paid. Finally, the light in the new room didn’t work. A man came to fix it and put his dirty shoes over my pillow while he did so. The most terrible 5* hotel ever. Never stay here. NOT 5* hotel!!! Don’t recommend it!!!
