Echo made things easy for our English-speaking family. She speaks English well, helped us check in, and shared her WeChat so we could message her if anything came up. When she wasn't around, the girls at the desk were still eager to help and used translation apps to communicate. We were a family of four in the lofted second-floor room. There was a king bed upstairs and a queen bed below, with lots of room and everything very clean. Two large TVs, one by each bed, meant the kids could watch separately. The carpet didn't bother our family's allergies. It also felt like a newer hotel, and everything was in great shape. The air conditioning was powerful, with units in both the loft and lower area. The walk to the Gondola for Tianmen mountain was easy. For snacks and meals, Huilong and Renmin Roads across the river and bridge were lively. We also enjoyed walking along the riverside, where the trees were blooming in April. I'd recommend staying here.

Echo at the front desk turned a difficult room situation into a really good stay at XANA Deluxe Zhangjiajie. She was patient and kind when we asked to move after finding a strong cigarette smell in our beautiful room. We arrived around noon and were allowed to check in early, which helped after traveling. We went out for an excursion at about 1 PM with the windows open, but when we came back around 8 PM, the smell was still strong enough to give us headaches. Echo showed us four rooms so we could pick one that felt right. We ended up downgrading, since many of the rooms we'd originally booked had mahjong tables, where smoking seemed more common. She handled the change with real care and even gave my stepson a small treat and a cute little dinosaur. She also sweetly said I looked like Lisa (the Thai rapper/singer), which made my day. We felt looked after throughout, and her help went beyond what we expected. Thanks, Echo, for making our experience so much better. We truly appreciate you!
