Flower House Girl Youth Hostel

This review is very late. I stayed in October 2025 and speak Mandarin, so communication was no problem. The room was spacious and clean, and there was lots of good food nearby. It's a short walk to the ZJJ entrance, though the many tour buses can make the surroundings a little noisy.

Our host helped us plan our days in the forest and arranged transport from the train station late at night, which made our three-night stay at the Eryatou Inn especially easy. The hotel is about a five-minute walk from the east gate of Zhangjiajie National Forest, and there was a pop-up street market with delicious food at night. I highly recommend this place for a visit to Zhangjiajie Forest.

We stayed in room number 666, a comfortable setup with two bedrooms, two private bathrooms, a kitchen, and a dining area. The owner was really nice and helpful, and we enjoyed our stay a lot. The hotel is well located, with plenty of restaurants and shops nearby and about a five-minute walk to Zhangjiajie National park. Amazing hotel, strongly recommended!

The staff bought my ticket before I arrived, and I paid them through Alipay. It works with foreign credit cards, though you can only use it to pay mainland China businesses. They also helped me plan the routes and work out how many hours to allow for each one. The hotel is a ten-minute walk from Zhangjiajie National Forest East Gate, the main gate. There are lots of restaurants nearby and the night market is across the street.
