Being just beyond the park's west entrance meant we avoided lines and most of the crowds, since visitors mostly come in through the south gate. The host also planned our days at Zhangjiajie and Tianmen Mountain so we could see everything we wanted without hiring a guide. The food was delicious, the rooms were great, and the hospitality was incredible. It's a bit farther from the airport, but the host kindly arranged a driver. This stay made our China trip.

A small hotel that really felt like home. The place is quiet and close to the west park gate, which is usually less crowded than the east gate. The proprietress was kind and attentive, and could help arrange excursions and transfers. Breakfast and dinner were very good, tasty Chinese food. Strongly recommend it, 5 stars!

Merry, the owner, made it easy to plan visits to Zhangjiajie and Tianmen mountain, from choosing routes and less crowded times to sorting out tickets. The homestay is only a couple of minutes on foot from the West park entrance, which is ideal. The accommodation was clean, quiet, and comfortable, and the freshly cooked food was tasty with generous portions.

We felt really comfortable here, just a few minutes from the West Entrance. The owner speaks English and made our trip so much better, arranging park tickets, going over routes with us, and sorting transport from the train to the homestay. Dinner was delicious every night, with a different meal each time, all cooked with so much love.

Only 3 minutes from the National Park, and such a lovely place to stay. The hostess was wonderful and the home-cooked food was excellent. We wholeheartedly recommend this gem.
