The Natural Hostel

The hotel felt new and modern, and I’d stay again if I get the chance. The check-in staff gave us useful advice about routes on Tianmen Mountain, and the cleaning crew kept the room in good shape. My suite was roomy, with a big, comfortable bed and a small lounge area with a desk. It had good amenities, including a bathtub, and the shower pressure was great. There’s a basic gym and a good washer and dryer setup on the third floor. The hotel is across the road from the bus station, where you can buy tickets for Tianmen Mountain or catch the cable car.

We made good use of the laundry room, which has four washing machines and four dryers. Our room was spacious and had all the amenities we needed. The housekeepers were lovely, especially A Dan from housekeeping, who paid close attention to what we needed and came by each evening to check that our stay was going well. I’m very grateful for her care. We had a very pleasant stay at Hampton by Hilton Zhangjiajie.

There’s a halal restaurant within walking distance, and the hotel is very close to the Tianmen cable car station. The staff were welcoming, kind, and helpful. The hotel has washers and dryers, and the laundry staff member moved our clothes from the washer to the dryer, then folded them and put them in a plastic bag labeled with our room number. The service was superb. Thank you so much. I highly recommend this hotel.

We had a really good stay. The rooms were spacious and very clean, the breakfast spread was excellent, and the hotel is close to the Tianmen mountain cable car. On our last day, we checked out early and left our bags in the foyer. Another customer took my carry-on by mistake, which was frustrating, but Yang hao was incredibly supportive and helped get it back. Within 12 hours he had worked out who had it. Even though I had to fly to Beijing that night, he arranged delivery to my new hotel there and kept me updated. It arrived on the exact day he predicted, carefully packed, with my camera inside wrapped in bubble wrap.
