Zhangjiajie Tongfu inn

Carol was the best part of our stay. She was so sweet and helpful, always going the extra mile with communication, planning, food and hospitality. We still found ourselves talking about how much we missed her for the rest of the trip. Choosing this place over Wulingyuan worked out perfectly. We were just five minutes from the National Park entrance, so early each day we could enjoy the park almost on our own. Definitely recommend.

Carol helped us arrange transport to and from the train station, and made the whole stay feel easy. She planned our park day with us, shared detailed maps and was available whenever we had questions. Her local knowledge and the location meant we could explore the national park smoothly and avoid queues. The rooms were roomy and comfortable, and a warm shower felt great after a long day walking. There was also very good food at reasonable prices for breakfast, lunch and dinner. We could just enjoy the incredible scenery at the national park.

Carol was an amazing host at Tongfu Inn and helped us map out two days in the national park. Since the guesthouse is only five minutes from the West Gate, the quieter side, our route went against the crowds. We barely queued, while lines going the other way looked long. It made for an amazing visit, and it was lovely to return to the cozy guesthouse each day. The rooms were spacious and modern, with air conditioning and heating, plus a huge double bed. We ate breakfast and dinner at the on-site restaurant, and both were delicious and reasonably priced. Carol also organized our rides to and from the train station. Our Zhangjiajie visit felt perfect, and we're so thankful. Highly recommend Tongfu Inn!

The rooms were cozy and nice, and they gave us enough things to stay warm for the season, which I loved. Everyone on staff was welcoming and very nice. I'd definitely recommend this place.
