When my sister and I visited the national park in 2016, the owner was so welcoming and kind. He helped us plan our route and even came along to make sure we got on the right bus. The room was clean, with a water boiler and cups, and we were very comfortable there. The one drawback was the shower, which had no walls, just a drain in the floor and a shower head. I’d recommend the place 100%.

There was construction on the neighboring property, so it got noisy at times. Still, at $18 a night it was the best value we found in China. We booked two nights and ended up staying four. The rooms are small, but clean, with a good bed and bathroom facilities. There are stairs to the rooms. The owner was helpful and spoke reasonable English. Restaurants and stores are nearby, and it’s a short walk to both the train station and cable car terminal.

I stayed here in January 2016, and the owner was a huge help with planning my Zhangjiajie itinerary. He took me to the bus station and pointed out the bus for the National park. The next day, he came with me again to show me which bus went to the Yellow Dragon cave. I'm writing this review three years later, and I’d highly recommend the hotel to anyone visiting Zhangjiajie.

The host was so nice and helpful, which changed my impression after seeing people at the city bus terminal talking loudly and rudely. I realized not everyone in the city was like that. Zhangjiajie Yijiaqin Hotel is a small, comfortable place in the center of Zhangjiajie city, and the rates are good for a short stay. Shopping malls, restaurants, and groceries are easy to reach. It could be a good option if you're planning to visit Zhangjiajie.

The staff are really nice. They can book sightseeing tickets for you and take you to the bus station for the Wulingyuaun entrance to Zhangjiajie. The room facilities were okay, and I slept well. Highly recommended.
