I'm on the fifth floor of this so-called three-star hotel tonight, and I'm really disappointed. The facilities may be great, but the service has been the worst. It's already 00:50, and I can still hear karaoke clearly from around 23:30, even the lyrics from the third floor. I called the front desk and asked if they could get the noise reduced since it was so late. They just said it was impossible and they couldn't help. I pointed out that it was nearly 01:00 and I had to get up at 06:00, but their answer was that they were nearly off duty and couldn't handle it. After I called, it got even louder. At 01:30, 40 minutes later, it was still going strong. They ignored my request and the first-time guests, just as their replies suggested they would. Maybe they made the right choice, because I won't come back to this badly serviced hotel. I'd tell my friends about this awful night too. Come here if you'd like to sleep at 03:00 and get up early.

The restaurant on the second floor served delicious food, and it came out very quickly. When our elders asked if the dishes could come a little more slowly, the staff said everything was already prepared and waiting to be served. The meal felt rushed. We checked in for one night on February 17, 2026, the first day of Lunar New Year. Before we went into the room, we were asked to report any smell of smoke so they could disinfect it. The front desk staff weren't very polite when we asked questions. Travel is about the experience, and a good one adds a lot of joy. Thankfully, our local tour guide was excellent and kept us from getting in a bad mood. Thank you for being friendly to Taiwanese tourists. The hotel front desk staff could use more training. Thank you.

The rooms were spacious, the hot spring was really comfortable, and the service was excellent. The downside was that smoking seemed to be allowed everywhere, so the smell was terrible.

On a business trip to Xiamen, I stopped in for lunch. The second floor looked luxurious when I got off the elevator. Xiamen cuisine is always delicious to me, with its light soups and rice noodles, even among Chinese cuisines.
