The restaurant promotion felt misleading. The signage said Hilton Honors members get 25% off dining, but after we sat down, we were told private dining rooms and some seafood were excluded. Those limits weren’t made clear in advance. I was also told that complimentary breakfast applied only to the room occupied by the Diamond member, while our other rooms for immediate family had to pay. I understand hotels have benefit rules, but the way this was handled felt very unfriendly to a loyal member traveling with family. The breakfast itself was disappointing and well below what I’ve had at many other Hilton properties. We had booked three rooms for a trip with my parents and two children. Despite my long-standing Hilton Diamond membership, we were first placed in a very noisy room facing heavy traffic. The outside noise woke me around 2:00 a.m., and I couldn’t get back to sleep properly. That was especially disappointing with elderly parents and children along. The Executive Lounge was another frustration. Although the hotel advertises lounge benefits, there was effectively no lounge experience during our stay. We were just given two boxed meals, far short of what guests would reasonably expect. Room assignment, sleep, food, lounge service, and clarity about member benefits all fell short. This didn’t feel like the Hilton standard I expect after years of loyalty as a Diamond member. I hope management takes these issues seriously and improves the experience for Hilton Honors members and their families.
