When I visited Zhengzhou in 2025, I stayed at a nearby hotel and ended up going to Erchi every day. The city feels vibrant and charming around here, with lots of shopping options. Definitely try the cart foods there.

There’s a station underground, and the square is part of a lively shopping district that stays popular even on weekdays. Lots of department stores are close by, and Zhengzhou’s iconic Erqi Monument is right there. It’s a must-see if you’re visiting Zhengzhou. ☺︎ If you’re looking for a hotel in Zhengzhou, the area around this square is convenient.

It was more comfortable than I expected: prices were cheap, and it wasn’t as crowded as I thought it would be.
