The Chinese feel of this centrally located five-star hotel was pleasant, and the service was excellent. I stayed here for business talks with Chinese partners. The Chinese food was tasty and there was plenty of choice. Rooms have free Wi-Fi, air conditioning, a TV, and a kettle with a good range of teas. There’s also a buffet, restaurant, fitness center, free parking, and banquet and conference rooms.

The main drawback was communicating with the staff, since they spoke very little English. Breakfast was okay, mostly Chinese dishes with a few pastries too. The hotel is comfortable, with large rooms and a central location. There are plenty of restaurants and shopping malls nearby. The Yangtze River and its parks are about 15-20 minutes away by taxi, and the train station is roughly the same distance.

It’s an old building, but it’s beautiful.
