The area is convenient for the government offices, shopping mall, and business district, while still being calm. Staff were polite, quick to respond, and professional. They handled every request promptly and with a smile, making my stay a wonderful one.

The rooms are spacious, and I like the quieter location for coming back after work. Still, I’d probably stay somewhere else next time. I’ve been here three times, and the standards have kept slipping since 2022. For a Marriott-branded hotel, it doesn’t feel like one. There’s no real welcome or recognition for members, even though I’ve reached Platinum, and I got neither an upgrade nor any acknowledgement. I also had to keep asking for the mineral water in my room to be refilled, and the desk chair was uncomfortable for working. Some of the small hassles add up on a longer business stay. My room card sometimes wouldn’t work for the elevator or my room. The dinner buffet seems to have less variety now, and empty dishes aren’t refilled. The chefs at the station seemed upset when I asked for extra Sashimi. In-room dining can take a while, though the food is much better than the buffet. The nearest mall is quite a walk away.

The room was nice, and breakfast had plenty of menu choices. The staff were good and helpful, and I appreciated being able to borrow a screwdriver to fix my travel bag. I stayed just one night on a company booking. I put a 1000 CNY deposit on my credit card for a 600 rate, and the remainder was refunded to the card a day or two later.

The garden was lovely for a walk, and the staff were friendly and spoke English, which mattered to me. Breakfast had a good range of European and Asian food. It’s a huge business hotel in a quiet neighborhood with a good view. The gym is open 24 hours, though it’s mostly for cardio. The indoor pool is small and more for fun than swimming. The outdoor pool still wasn’t open in July, which seemed strange.
