Angsana Zhuhai Phoenix Bay

The rooms are lovely and breakfast is great, but most of the rest was mediocre or bad. There’s nothing within walking distance, so having two of the three restaurants listed on the website closed during my stay made things difficult. The only place open was the fancy Asian restaurant. It was ridiculously expensive for the area, and the food was awful. They say they offer room service, but the WeChat code doesn’t work. The pool is large, yet there were only about 10 chairs, all sitting in the shallow water. The beach area is nice, but the water is brown and you can’t swim there.

The staff only spoke basic English, but they were so sincere and friendly that I felt welcome. They really did their best to make sure I had what I needed. Angsana Zhuhai has a beautiful beachside location, with striking views and a calming atmosphere that makes it easy to relax. The romantic, peaceful feel is in keeping with its five star quality. I even saw a few weddings during my stay, which added a charming touch. I have certain expectations of the hotels I choose, and this is one of the rare places I’d take the time to write about. I’ll definitely be back! 😘

The surroundings are beautiful and it’s a nice hotel. Our room’s WiFi connection wasn’t very good, and some toiletries had run out before we checked in. The conditioner bottle was empty, and the separate bathroom sink plunger was broken. Those things kept it from feeling like a five star stay.

I’ve stayed at Angsana Zhuhai Phoenix Bay Hotel twice, both times in the sea view pool duplex suite. Having a private pool and ocean views made it especially relaxing. The room and pool both look out over the sea, and the design and materials are top notch. The place feels like a home away from home, with polite staff, clean facilities, and a fresh, varied food selection. I also had a wonderful, deeply soothing massage at the spa. After long work days, it’s a great place to unwind and feel refreshed. The room quality, design, food, and service all make this a top tier stay. I highly recommend it, and appreciate how well the hotel has looked after me each time. Thank you, Angsana Ahuhai Phoenix Bay Hotel!
