The hotel is in a quiet residential area, so nearby amenities are limited. The mall is far enough away that you need a car to get there. Breakfast was mostly local Chinese food, and the buffet setup was confusing. My brother thought the sweet dishes had been placed between the savory ones. Drink choices were very limited, just mineral water and soya milk that tasted far too watered down. Most of the food was so-so. I had planned to spend one night at Landmark International, but for some unknown reason the booking was changed to Golden Palm. I didn’t realize the local tour guide had planned this until we arrived, when I saw we were at a completely different hotel from the one listed on the itinerary. The room wasn’t quiet. Karaoke noise carried up to the higher floors and, more annoyingly, went on until midnight.

The location is handy, near the tunnel exit, so getting around Zhuhai doesn’t take long. Breakfast has limited choices, so don’t expect much. My room faced the hill and was quiet, with a green view. Rooms facing the road may get daytime traffic noise.
