There's a bus stop right outside, and the hotel is about a 20-minute walk from Gongbei. Plenty of shopping is nearby, including Walmart, Decathlon, a local market, and restaurants. Breakfast at the hotel was pretty basic, but the cleaning lady on the 8th floor was very polite and thorough, greeting everyone she passed. I won't comment on the lobby staff. Soundproofing is the real problem. Early one morning, a large tour group, including older men and women, was chatting and making so much noise that I couldn't sleep. I opened my door and yelled, and they all went quiet, haha.
