Communication here needs a translation app since nobody speaks English. The room controls and all the instructions, details, and opening hours are only in Chinese too, and the Chinese Alexa only works if you speak Chinese. Repeating that point seems unnecessary. My first room was a mess, with nearly everything broken, from the automatic curtains and TV to the switches and toilet. Four people came into the room before they finally moved me after 20 minutes. Most things worked in the next room, apart from the USB speakers and fridge. The hallways can be loud at night, and there was an occasional engine droning outside. I couldn't find a breakfast buffet. They had some kind of Chinese food instead, which was hard going even though I really like Chinese food. I tried explaining the coffee machine and soft drinks to the friendly woman with gestures, but she spent 10 minutes trying and couldn't get me a coffee. She even tried using water from the dishwasher. I skipped dinner. There are a supermarket and a few smaller shops and restaurants nearby. At around $50 a night, the price is okay.
