Yingxiang International Hotel

The rooms are very spacious, with plenty of room to spread out and look at the city through the many windows. The restaurant serves local food to a high standard, though finding the usual Western options may be difficult. The hotel sits in a lively area full of shops, street food, and people, so expect crowds and congestion. I stayed here during a travel trade visit to Sichuan province. There’s some age to the place, and the decor mixes traditional Chinese details with more modern touches. The artwork is distinctive, and the slight wear on the upholstery adds to its character. Yingxiang Jinjiang International Hotel has old-school charm and spacious rooms, and it gives you a taste of China if you’re comfortable with the busy surroundings and quirky decor.
