Close to the Muelle and the heart of Capurgana, this place still felt wonderfully peaceful. The cats greeted me along with the lovely local staff, and I felt at home straight away. The food tasted homemade in the best way, drinks and even Haribo were fairly priced, and they were happy to share tips or organize trips. I went to Panama and the neighbouring village, and loved being the only Non-Colombian on the trip. The setup made the power outage manageable. There had been no electricity in the area for over a week when I arrived, which I was told was fairly common. I was naive and had almost no cash, so getting money would have been a huge problem. Stefan, the German owner, kindly let me transfer money from my bank account to his in exchange for cash. He saved my vacation, or at least made it possible. There are three cats, two angels, and one saviour here. I had lights and a fan in my room around the clock, Wi-Fi all the time, and enough outlets for guests to charge their phones whenever they wanted. Still, take a little time to enjoy the Digital Detox.

It's a simple place, but lovely, and the food is great. What stood out most was how welcome Louis, the staff, and sweet little Emily made us feel. Big recommendation from two happy Danes. It was a little tricky to find, so arrange a pickup from the pier.

We had such a relaxing, quiet stay and loved the welcome from Pablo, Lina, pamela, coco, paco, dolce, and Elvis. We'd love to come back.

The owners were delightful and made us feel comfortable, and the cats were cute too. It's a beautiful, peaceful spot just outside capurgana pueblo.
