Hotel Banana Paradise

The rooms are spacious, and I asked for one with a desk so I could work comfortably. In the lobby, there’s a water dispenser for refilling a bottle, plus coffee and herbal tea. The location is convenient, near the Éxito shopping center, with plenty of shops and restaurants around, and Ortiz’s restaurants and bars nearby. Prices are reasonable, too. The welcome made a strong impression, from the first call to book to the charismatic women who greeted me at the lobby. Their service made it feel like I wasn’t far from home. A very good hotel, highly recommended.

Having a reservation made me think I was all set, but at reception they said there was no booking because the website wasn’t working. I had to scramble to find somewhere else, and since the hotels were full when I arrived, I nearly ended up on the street.

I enjoyed my stay and would come back. The hotel was very clean, and the staff were attentive. A few things could be better, including the satellite dish, the shower hot water, and the breakfast.

Very clean, with a good atmosphere and very good service.
