Hotel Victoria Barichara

We booked through the homepage, but apparently they never got the booking notification and gave our room to someone else. When we arrived there was nothing available. That was annoying, but these things happen. The way they treated me was the real problem. The woman at reception acted as though it were my mistake and was quite grumpy. I stayed polite, even though I was tired after a long day and a 3 hour drive and had expected some rest. They offered us a beer, then charged us for it. I felt more like an unwanted person than a customer. I can’t really comment on the hotel itself, and I hope they don’t usually treat guests this way. We found a nice little hotel afterward where we were treated really well, but hotel Victoria didn’t help us with that. If you want a nice, well priced hotel in Barichara, try Casa Roja or Hotel Casa Mandarino instead.
