Ayenda 1011 Chapinero

My room was smaller than the one I'd booked and wasn't clean, especially the bathroom and bedding. During my 4-day stay there was no cleaning, and the towels weren't changed once. The soundproofing was nonexistent, so sleep was hard, with guests drinking openly in the lobby and staff doing nothing. The reception music was loud and made the place unpleasant. I asked several times for it to be turned down. From the moment I arrived, the staff felt unfriendly and unwelcoming. A really disappointing stay, and I wouldn't recommend this hotel to anyone wanting a restful visit.

The hotel was decent and clean, and I slept well on the bed. My room had three beds and plenty of space, but the bathroom was impossibly tiny. The shower was nice, with lots of hot water. The ventilation was awkward: just a small window opening onto a closed common area inside the building. Outside, the location is practical, with Transmilenio right across the street, a giant Exito supermarket, and lots of little shops nearby.

I was here for about a week, and hallway noise woke me up every night. They need to improve the soundproofing between the rooms and the hall.

Nice hotel, but the hot water was disappointing. The flow kept changing, sometimes slow and sometimes fast.
