The breakfast was good, and it’s fun that you can make your own waffles. The potato soup was especially impressive, and the hotel offers good value in a great location. Service at the front desk was frustrating. Check-in took longer than necessary, and staff were slow and unhelpful when I asked questions. My key expired at 11:00 a.m. while I was still within my valid stay. When I went to reactivate it, staff asked a lot of unnecessary questions and thought I wanted to check out. That delayed me when I needed to get back to my room to pack and leave for the airport. Before my official checkout time, hotel staff entered my room without proper notice. I still had luggage there, so assuming I was checking out made no sense. Also, the room can get quite cold on rainy days in Bogotá, though you can ask the hotel for a heater. The facilities and breakfast are good, but communication and respect for guests’ privacy need serious improvement.

The hotel stay itself was reasonably good, but the follow-up about a pair of glasses we left on the bedside table was awful. We contacted the hotel right after checkout, then sent WhatsApp messages and emails for several days. Staff kept sending us to different contacts and never clearly said whether anyone had checked the room, housekeeping, or lost-and-found. Losing an item is understandable. The disorganized, evasive handling of a simple request was embarrassing and among the worst post-stay service I’ve experienced from a hotel.

Everything was good, but the service was 10/10! Everyone was soooooo nice and friendly, from the front desk to the restaurant and cleaning ladies. They were pet friendly too, and my dog felt so welcome. I saw smiles everywhere.

There was no air conditioning anywhere in the building, and I couldn't find that disclosed when booking. With humidity around 70-90%, my room felt like a sauna. I left and lost my reservation, and the staff weren't very helpful. Avoid this place if you can't handle the heat.
