Hotel Bogotá DC

As soon as I arrived, I knew I’d made a mistake. The front desk staff were rude and didn’t seem interested in helping. After a long wait, I finally got to my room, and it was disgusting. Thick, curly pubic hairs were clearly visible in the Jacuzzi, on the bedsheets once I removed them, and in the toilet, along with some yellowish marks. Finding them in the sheets was the last straw, so I called reception right away to cancel and get a refund. They wouldn’t refund me immediately or pay in cash, but offered a bank transfer the next day. It took them more than three weeks to send part of my money, and a month later I’m still waiting for the rest. I booked a 5 star hotel for less than I paid here. The location is near the airport, so it’s a short ride, but this isn’t a professional establishment. Guest care and maintenance don’t seem to be priorities.

The suite was a great deal, and the huge bathtub and TV made the room especially nice. I was treated really well from check-in through departure. I’d stayed at this hotel since it first opened, and I’m still very impressed. Definitely recommend it.

The location is the big plus, with restaurants, clubs, convenience stores, and ATMs all within walking distance. I had to take off a star because there was no air conditioning or fan to cool the room.

The showers were great, with hot water, and the WiFi was fast. The hotel was clean, orderly, and secure, and a chef was available to make a hot breakfast.
