The neighborhood felt safe, and there was security around. The location worked well for exploring the city and was close enough to the airport. Inside, everything was clean, comfortable, and decorated in a lovely traditional style.

I paid in full for a reservation through Despegar, but when I got there they refused to let me in, saying there were no rooms left. They wouldn't even check my reservation at first. Once they finally looked, all they could say was that they'd see whether a refund was possible. Then they left me outside by myself, which felt dangerous. That's all.

Andrés, the reservations manager, was wonderful, and so were the rooms and common areas. The place is central, the neighborhood felt very safe, and the price was really affordable. I loved the whole experience.
