The lobby has an unusual water refill machine that pulls humidity from the air so people can fill their bottles. It seemed like it could work especially well in more humid parts of northern Colombia. One downside, there are no smart TVs, so bring a Roku or a Chromacast if you want to watch YouTube or Netflix. We stayed in a smaller suite and liked having a balcony for some sun and for air-drying clothes. Breakfast had a nice range of Colombian and international options, and our little one was happy with it. The complimentary airport shuttle was reliable and right on time, and the driver was friendly and accommodating. Dany at the front desk was outstanding during check-in and when we needed to extend our stay. Fernanda in security was thoughtful, spotting us with the stroller and quickly opening doors or holding the elevator. Those little things make travel with a toddler much easier. This Fairfield Inn & Suites Bogotá Airport exceeded our expectations for a Fairfield. It was noticeably better than many other Fairfields we've stayed in, and even better than the Residence Inn we used earlier on this same trip to Bogotá. We'll definitely return to the city and stay here again.

Breakfast was amazing, and the food was good. What really made it special was MR. Edgar, who was so welcoming and chatted with us. I'm from the USA and live in Chicago Illinois, and his kindness made me feel like I had a friend in Bogotá Colombia. The other breakfast workers could learn from his great people skills. Check-in was an awesome experience too. Kevin was very patient while I gathered all our documents, and he was professional.

We arrived around 6p and found a cute little food court just across the first floor, which was really convenient for getting food. The hotel also has a restaurant and bar, but we chose to go out for the evening. It's a short walk to the Embassy. The room setup was great, the service fantastic, and both the hotel and room were clean. Breakfast options were wonderful. We'll absolutely be back.

The washroom layout was strange, and the shower pressure was a bit weak. Still, I had a wonderful stay and would return. The terrace suites were really nice, with a great mountain view, and the beds and pillows were comfortable. Sheets were clean and warm.

The room had no power on the first night. I reported it as soon as I arrived, but they never fixed it. For hours, electricity kept shocking my phone and computer every second, damaging their batteries. When I came back the next day, my key wouldn't work. I had to go up and down three times before they realized the key issue was because the room's power still wasn't working and they hadn't repaired it. After I came down for a new key, they offered to clean a small bag of socks and underwear for 34,000 pesos. To my surprise, my clothes came back a day later with a 210,000 charge. When I asked, they said nobody had authorized the 34,000 special price. That was a lie. They also never replaced the empty Kleenexes in the bathroom on two nights, even after I asked, and the front desk didn't leave the extra pillow I requested for when I returned from meetings. This is honestly one of the worst hotels I've stayed at. They don't honor their word, and I'll never stay again.
