Hemma Bogotá Country Luxury Suites Hotel

The reception girls were kind and friendly while I translated, and the towels were great. It was a pleasant stay, though far from luxury, and a few more details need attention. The bed linens were very old and stained. The kitchenette had only one plate, no silverware, and no cups. I’d emailed before arriving to ask about possible early check-in and the airport shuttle, but got no response.

I stayed for three weeks because work kept me too busy to move, but this place is a mess and overpriced. One night, while I was in bed, strangers burst into my room because the receptionist had double-booked it. As a woman traveling alone, I found that terrifying and completely unacceptable. The rooms are worn and old, nothing like the 'luxury' photos. Housekeeping even puts up 'Do Not Disturb' signs to avoid cleaning; expect gray, stained towels and sheets. Breakfast is disgusting, and after 9 AM you get leftovers at a sticky, dirty table. They advertise a business meeting room and gym, but neither exists. They said they just 'haven't updated the photos.' The staff are friendly and the Wi-Fi is good, but that’s it. Stay somewhere else. This place feels shady.

The rooms were spacious and comfortable, and the breakfast was great. I had a wonderful stay at Hotel Hemma. The staff were attentive, and the service was excellent, which made my visit even more enjoyable. Highly recommended!

We’re a Canadian family, and we truly enjoyed our time at the hotel. Everything was spotless, the food and service were excellent, and the ladies at reception were incredibly friendly. With love.
