We couldn’t find reception staff at the more commercial hostels after arriving in bogota very late, so we ended up here. I couldn’t be happier with that choice. The staff were helpful, friendly, lenient, and very familiar. The rooms were clean, and towels and soap were provided. All the rooms were offered at a very good price. I’d 100% recommend this hotel for a stay in Bogota.

The hotel itself was nice, clean, and comfortable, with good value for the price. It was near CAS, about a $2 Uber ride away, as well as the airport and American embassy. Breakfast was included, a nice traditional one. But last night was a very stressful and unpleasant experience. After checking in, I went out to find food before it started raining. I was gone for about 35 minutes. When I returned, nobody opened the door. I knocked and rang the bell for at least half an hour, with all my belongings inside: money, phone, laptop, luggage, everything. Two residents inside couldn’t let me in because they didn’t know whether I was actually staying there or was a thief taking advantage of the situation. I don’t blame them, Bogotá is an unsafe city. I tried to get help from two neighbors on the next block of the same street, but they were just as perplexed by what was happening. After an hour, the receptionist finally arrived, very relaxed, joking and trying to be funny. I was annoyed, but I wasn’t violent or rude. I know this probably doesn’t happen often, but it happened to me.

The staff were really welcoming, and the price is hard to beat. It’s also a handy spot for the airport, under a 10-minute drive even with traffic.

Three of us stayed for under $30, and breakfast was included. The hotel is close to the airport, the staff were good, and there’s free Wi-Fi. A taxi from the airport cost 20,000 pesos.
