Clean, modern rooms and a very nice hotel for the price. Breakfast was good, and everything else was great. The coffee capsules aren’t refilled, and they charge $2 each, which gives the place a bit of a cheap feel. For a hotel at this level, it would make more sense to include them in the nightly rate.

David, the bellboy, greeted us warmly, and breakfast was good. The rooms are small, and there was hair in the toilet. The hallway floors weren’t clean, though the poor lighting made it hard to spot. I really think it’s dark on purpose. There’s a construction site next door, and it looks like it’ll be there for a while. It was quite loud.

The Coco is in a great part of Bogota, within easy walking distance of cafes, shops, and excellent restaurants. The staff were friendly and accommodating, and there’s a nice business center and workspace. The pool suite is unusual among Bogota hotels, but these days the price is harder to justify. We stayed in a pool suite once in 2019 and again in September 2025. The location and service are still great, but the rooms seem to have been neglected. They’re spacious and well designed, with a comfortable sitting area, desk, large bathroom, and great lighting. Still, the pillows were lumpy, both indoor and outdoor couch cushions were stained, the TV had no cable, and the outlet for the Google Home speaker kept cutting out. The pool jets didn’t work, and the shower gel seemed to have been diluted with water. There’s construction behind the hotel, so the suite’s pool area is noisy until 5 p.m. The lovely rooftop, which used to have a plant-filled bar and breakfast area, is no longer in use.

We only stayed one night during a stopover, and it was perfect. Since it was our honeymoon, they left wine and a sweet message in the room, which we really appreciated. Everything was spotless, the bed was very comfortable, and the room was well equipped. The restaurant is temporarily closed for dinner, but breakfast was amazing. Those were some of the best pancakes we’ve ever had. I’d definitely recommend it.
